General Sponsorship options of $25 or $45 per month for the Akina Ties Haven

Akina Ties Australia Inc is entirely run by volunteers so (unlike the big name charities) every cent of sponsorship money and donations we receive is sent directly to Kenya for spending on our children and projects.

All funds raised via Akina Ties Angel sponsorships are used to fund the running costs of the centre as a whole. This includes providing food, legal aide, accommodation, clothing, health care and schooling for each of our precious children.
When you sign up to become an Akina Ties Angel not only will you be helping Transform Lives and Change Destinies but you will receive regular newsletters and have the opportunity to have your photo placed on the Akina Ties Angels wall in the Haven.
$45 a month sponsorship will receive (via post) a Haven profile pack, which includes a picture of some of the children in our care and the place they call home.
Akina Ties Angels' Newsletter
All sponsors receive a minimum of two electronic newsletters each year with all the latest news from the centre, up and coming events and Akina Ties success stories.
Our Wall of Support
The opportunity to have your photo placed on our Akina Ties Angels wall. The Akina Ties Angels wall is very important to us as an organisation,
as it acknowledges the people who believe in and support the work we do.
But, more importantly, it is a visual reminder to the children and women (current and future) of the smiling faces from all over the world that believe in their self-worth and right to a safe, respectful, and fulfilling life.
Letters of Love and Support
Like all kids, our children love receiving parcels in the post - stickers, school supplies and clothes are always favourites - but please remember postage can be hit and miss to Kenya. The postage details can be found on the FAQ page. You may even get a personalised reply from one of the kids!
