GIRLIE CAMP - She has the will, help show her the way!

Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 restrictions Girlie Camps have been put on hold, but we will use this time to plan and make it bigger and better than ever.
​
Akina Ties have run a number of Girlie Camps in the past years reaching over 800 girls. This program is very popular with the girls and community leaders as it helps to tackle the high teenage pregnancy rate and puts enfaces on the importance of education.
​
Girlie Camp runs for 5 days and is hosted at a local school. Between 30 and 50 girls per camp will be invited to attend the camps which involve leadership workshops, health promotion and of course - heaps of fun with movies, singing and dancing! All food and supplies are provided as well as each girl leaves with a pack containing toiletries, sanitary products and essential school supplies.

These girls have the will to change their lives for the better, please help us show them the way by funding a girl to attend Girlie Camp.
