The COVID 19 pandemic restrictions are devastating the most vulnerable people in the Kisii community, where Akina Ties is located.
The measures that have been put in place to protect the grandparents, widows and single parents are literally killing them.
Sadly, a number of vulnerable Kisii community members who we have helped in the past with Christmas hamper distribution, have passed away already. Not from COVID 19 but from starvation and lack of medication. We cannot let this continue.

These people have been told not to leave their houses and curfews are in place which means they are unable to access food or urgent healthcare. They are scared to go to the hospital for help and have little or no family to help them. Their situation is desperate but completely preventable.

For $45 you can feed 1 person 3 meals a day for 2 weeks, preventing starvation.
We can't sit back and let more of our community friends who we know well suffer. So we are asking for donations to cover the cost of emergency food hampers during the COVID 19 period.
For $45 we will provide life saving food, that will feed 1 person, 3 meals a day for 2 weeks. However we know these people will stretch this food out as long as possible, as it is all they have.
